Description

At the top of Mount Bromo, you can see the crater's beauty, which is still active; many climbers climb at 2 am to see the beautiful sunrise.

Mount Bromo is also famous as a place for the growth of the Eternal Flower, Edelweiss. The trail passes by Luhur Poten Temple, also called Sanggar Agung Poten, which is located under Mount Bromo. This temple is a place of worship for Tengger Hindus. This temple is unique because it is in a sea of sand. The permanent buildings built on the sea of sand are only this temple. Its establishment was intended to be a place for the Tengger Hindu community to worship the god Brahma.

If you want to reach the top of the mountain without climbing it, you can rent an off-road Jeep or horse.
